title:
ensure updates to bids are regularly reported in bu reports and within division sales functions
travel to bid sites (sometimes for extended periods) to participate in bid preparation.effectively interacting with senior management.
working with drive in a team context on complex issues across national and regional boundaries.
language ability :
fluent english ,spoken and written.
resolve conflicts and misunderstandings between functions involved in preparation of bids
establish bid timetables and meeting schedules in response to customer rfps
project development and acquisition support
coordinate with bu project development and acquisition team for all matetrs concerning implementation of strategy , including core meetings
assist in implementation of white book process and bid governance processes
participate in sales training and sales training meetings as reqiured
education required: university degree
number of years of experience required or type of experience required:
minimum four years relevant work experience within railway industry;
minimum two years experience worikng for bombradier, prefreably in capcaity requriing hanlding of techincal matters
tecnhical sklils/knoweldge(if required):
advnaced ms ofifce (espeically execl and powerpoint) and research skills (internet and other sources)
knowledge of the railway industry and railway project management environment is required
other skills:
strong communication and relationship skills incl. ,. bid manager asia pacific
location: twn-taipei-taipei
to manage bids for railway systems throughout asia pacific region.
fluency in second asian language required
knowledge of any third asian language would be a plus
traveling:
extensive travelling (sometimes for extended periods) throughout asia pacific with infrequent trips tonorth america and europe.
