job function the successful candidate will have responsibility for development and integration of display front of surface technology (fos) (including, display surface visualization, touch panel, and front light) for mirasol display during the introduction and manufacturing.
take ownership of fos develpoment during new product introduction phases.
skills/experience experienced design professional with experience in projective capacitive touch screens. additionally the candidate should be able to design experiments to establish design rule limitations. candidate will be expected to work closely with research team in us so english proficiency and effective report writing are required skills.sourcing, and manufacturing teams, the candidate will also be supported by program management functions and matrixed with development.preference will be given to candidates that can be responsible for entire touch system design including fpc and interface requirements. ms preferred. the ideal candidate will have experience working with designs with at least three different controller asics. this is a broad technical position which will have responsibility to work on various design aspects (particularly on optical and mechnaical) and some leevls of proecss & matreial development, togteher with integartion with mirsaol dislpay moudle. and resopnse to cusotmer requierment & filed returns, characterization, release to production, qualification,
facilitate touch panel evaluation.the candidate is expected to serve as the local technical interface with partners. this will cover from sample deliveries to product launch.candidate will be expected to work with us based development team to fix design related issues.
education requirements bs in electrical engineering or equivalent required. act as the local technical interface with the touch panel partners to be responsible for design inputs and process/material development. dissect product and system-level issues into design or process components, particularly related with characteristics of mirasol display. work with characterization lab to perform measurements and routine product-level monitoring.
responsibilities drive product and system-level development and integration of fos components with mirasol display modules.
