job function provide 24/7 management support for qualcomms qdc division including fab b and c. he/she will be expected to perofrm in line with business metrics and continuously identify process & procedure improvements
must have exceptional written and verbal communications skills - ability to communicate and work effectively with a global customer base. will report to the approrpiate sr manager/director/senior director at qualcomm.and manage the it supoprt team for the fabs.
education requirements preferred: bachelor\'s degree, computer science and/or information technology or equivalent experience in it and it manaegment.
manage the it support stfaf in following the current processes in place in accodrance with itil
the it support manager is responsible for the daily opertaions and management of the it team at qdc and includes fabs b and c. this management role will require oversight and mentoring of a diverse technical team supporting this dynamic factory/manufacturing environment. hiring, and performance management for it employees at qdc and fab b
preferred experience will be with these areas and products: cisco/veritas/unix/linux/serivce-now/symantic/voip/sun systems/vm/brocade/hpux/lenovo/hp/acer/telepresence
manage the effective operations of it support staff inclduing alinging appropriate staffing leevls and scheudling baesd on slas and service nedes in accordance with iso/itil stanadrds
perform incdient management/prolbem management - manage the complete incident lifecycle from time of receipt of an end-user incident or request through ticket closure, incident resolution and/or request fulfillment, interviewing,
administers staffing functions such as scheduling.maintain, implement, taiwan
develop, implement and maintain policies, appropriate use and disaster
recovery
monitor and test system and server level performance
statistics and reports
manage/mentor and provide guidance to the it team at fab b, and oversee enforcement of it policies
procedures and associated plans for user system access based on iso/itil standards
develop, procedures and associated training
plans for system resource administration,
skills/experience manage the it infrastructure employees at fab b, qdc in longtan.need an experienced motivated self-starter, ability to communicate well with management, peers and customers.
responsibilities this position manages a local 24/7 support team that requires multiple disciplines and interfaces with all qualcomm locations worldwide.
