candidate will be responsible for the performance tuning and benchmarking of ibm system x server products. gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, or veteran status, disability, color, genetics, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion.the candidate will need to setup and maintain perfomrance lab infrastructure as required. is required, knowledgeable of sevrer system architecture, understands performance objectives and workloads, general compute server performance.the candidate will work closely with hardware and firmware development team on design and implementation enhancements and make tuning recommendations to improve overall system performance. such as c/c++ optimization flags, java performance optimization is a plus,
required
bachelor's dergee in comupter scinece or elecrtical engineering
knolwedge in server and os architecture
knolwedge in performance objectives and workloads
knowledge in c/c++ or java programming
familiar with the linux os
fluent english communication skills (both written and spkoen)
preefrred
matser's degree in computer science or electrical engineering
knowledge/expeirence in server performance bencmharks
knowledge/experience on x86 hardware performance optimization
knowledge/experience on software performance optimization.
