title:
l works directly with suppliers and tier 2/3 suplpier if required to assure capacity and continuity of supply for specific components.engages activities related to global sourcing, and quality, product delivery specifications, supplier selection.ensures sourcing efforts meet business goals and objectives.
principal accountabilities
l works closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product availability at product launch.
l performs long-range capacity analysis for their commodity.develops and maintains working relationships with global internal/external supply chain partners.
l works with regional demand team to validate the global demand and recommend demand shipping if required.
l strong ability to execute demand supply resolution issues.
l works with functional leaders to perform analysis and identify areas for performance improvement.
l works closely with regional buyers to regluate supplier mix of toatl avaialble makret (tam).
l mangaes compnoent transtiions gloablly to minmiize execss and obsloete invetnory (e&o).
l balnaces available supply globally against regional requirements.
education and experience:
l undergraduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or graduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience
l strong materials requirement planning analysis skills.
l coordinates global supply with regional procurement.gcm mechanical cleansheet
